New Summer Sermon Series May 26th – August 25

We know that God is a “majestic God, whose glory fills the skies,” (Psalm 8). There is comfort in knowing God is above us in all things. Yet, as Christians, we also need to know God near. We want a personal relationship. We want God to walk with us. For this closeness, God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit. In most of mainline religion, the Holy Spirit is the least taught and most mysterious of the three persons in the Trinity. For this reason, we are going to learn of the Holy Spirit, and how God seeks to live closely to us through the ministry of the third person of the trinity.

MARCH in May

The Metropolitan Area Resource Clearing House (MARCH) provides food for needy people in the greater Richmond area through local community centers. During May we are collecting non-perishable foods to donate to a MARCH distribution site. Grocery bags with a suggested list of items are available in the Welcome Center. Financial contributions are also accepted. Please make the check out to the church with “MARCH” noted on your check or offering envelope. 100% of the money donated will be used to buy food for MARCH.
