Joy has led the music ministry at River Road UMC since 2015, bringing her passion for worship and music to the congregation. She holds a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University and directs both the Adult Choir and Children's Choir. She also plays the piano and organ, enriching worship with her musical gifts.

Beyond music, Joy enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, as well as photography and photo editing. Her creativity extends beyond the sanctuary, bringing beauty and artistry into her everyday life.
