Nora Hamlet – Open Arms Preschool Director
Nora has dedicated over 35 years to Early Childhood Education, working in both non-profit, faith-based schools and for-profit programs. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Mary Baldwin University, along with certifications in Non-Profit Business Administration and Christian Mental Health Coaching. Since 2008, she has served as the Director of Open Arms Christian Preschool, providing leadership and a nurturing environment for young learners.
Fun Fact: Nora and her family live on a mini farm in rural Virginia, where they raise animals just for fun! Their ever-growing farm includes Holland Lop rabbits (12 and counting!), a mini horse, a mini donkey, Nigerian dwarf goats (9), silkie chickens (4), laying hens (17), sheep (8), and 5 dogs—ensuring there’s never a dull moment at her house!
